QUINN KLOPPERS
Quinn was born in Zimbabwe and is purely African, not just by birth but also in his attachment to the wild
places that he grew up in.
Being raised in one of Africa’s truly wild areas allowed him to create a
relationship with the wild animals that can only be found in a few remaining places on the planet. In the
year 2000 he became a licensed guide in Zimbabwe and spent his time immersing himself and his
clients in to wild areas both state and private. The progression to capturing his experiences on camera
was a very natural progression, allowing him to share with others what he gets to experience on a daily
basis.
His knowledge of the technical side of photography and his understanding of the animals and
environments that he works in, have allowed him to capture some truly unique and breathtaking images.
Not one to settle into routine he is always trying to capture never been done shots and discover new
techniques and technologies to help him improve his craft.
He is always ready to pass on what he has
learnt to people and that is one of the reasons he is truly one of Africa’s premier guides and
photographers.
